5)       Secretary Report:

Cheri wasn’t able to make much progress on the Speaker Database. She didn’t get any additional contacts or names, she did see John at IMAC and he said he had some information for her. She also met up with John Dawe while there and got his eMAIL. He said he thought he could help her out. Cheri got additional replies from speakers she’d asked for permission/information from. We have 10 speakers that have given permission and supplied information. She’d like to see this be at least 20 prior to going live with this and announcing it. She has another 10 names in the database but hasn’t been able to contact them.

May BOD meeting minutes were compiled and sent to the BOD.

6)       Editor Report:

Rob had nothing to report; he’s still awaiting arrival of MS Publisher to complete the spring newsletter.

7)       Webmaster Report:

None given.

8)       MAC/USCRTF Report:

None given.

Call to order 9:13 PM EST

9)       Motion passed to accept last month’s meeting minutes.

10)    Chuck made a motion to choose MACNA XVII host between WAMAS and MARSH bids. The BOD chose to make it a public vote. WAMAS was the unanimous choice. Chuck will be updating the MASNA website to show who won and posting the two bids for viewing as well. He advised the WAMAS folks that they could announce that they would be hosting the next MACNA but they can’t collect funds or sell anything before MACNA XVI is held. Rob let them know that they are entitled to space at MACNA XVI to sell advance tickets.

11)    Cheri reported that names and contacts for the MASNA National Speaker Database are finally coming in and that she is making more progress.

12)    Chuck explained that the first company he ordered MS Publisher from cancelled the order and that he’s reordering it for Rob. Rob reported that the newsletter just needed to be PDF’d and printed.

Motion to adjourn by Chuck, seconded by Rob. The motion passed at 9:41pm EST.
