Today, 1/17/2010, we will be doing a call-in version of the show. This is a test event to see how things line up for future events. I want to also take this opportunity to get ideas from anyone that joins the show. This will be a recorded show for the purposes of setting up an iTunes and other RSS feeds as well as set some information up for use on this site.

You can join by phone, voip (SIP compliant), Skype (Skype charges for this) or even just join via the text chat on the Talkshoe page (link below) and listen in. A registration with Talkshoe is not required, but recommended. Otherwise you will show up as Guest in the viewer list. If you use the FaceBook application it will automatically use your profile information to display your name on the screen.

You will be able to access the event 15 minutes prior to start time.

More to follow shortly.

Well thanks to those of you that joined to test. While it was not a failure, the recording is located in our video gallery, there were some issues. Enough that it will warrant looking for anther approach.

I am now wondering if my connection was bogged down with too many of us at our house online at the same time. We discovered that our daughter was watching a tv show on her netbook and one son was playing xbox. Could that of added to my troubles getting the program to load?

Yes that could have caused it. Since it is a streaming app you just would have been adding to the already full pipe. That also explains why when I got on your machine it was extremely slooooow.
