I been sending out emails trying to find sponsors for our club thinking that they would have set things that they offer and finding out this isnt the case. I recieved a few emails back ask for a link to sponsorship info, which we dont have. I was wondering what the standard  for this. Im new to the club game and could use some help getting this part set up if anyone could link thier club policies on this or make some suggestions I will definately add you to my christmas card list.

    thanks

    DJ,

Typically you can offer them a banner ad as well as a listing in a local vendor / local company part of your website.

You can also offer ad space on any physical banners you may have printed for frag swaps / meets.

Yea I am giving them ad rotation on the home page a ad on a sponsors page and option of a vendors forums. My issue is that they are asking we want from them and I just am not sure what is to little or to much to ask. Just wondering if there is a standard going rate so to speak or general run of the mill deal, if that makes sense.

Lots of things to say on this.
My take is that most clubs do better (and so do the stores) whenever they can work together. I'd suggest having a set list of things that stores get for being sponsors.... regardless of how much they sponsor or donate. If they advertise for you in any way then give them: banner space, place to sell things on your site, and offer to do group buys through them and what not.
If you want to have different sponsorship opportunities then I would suggest things they can sponsor like "for $500 we'll hold a meeting at your store and let you have a meet and greet and autograph signing with the guest speaker" and things like that.
